Focus areas
Henri founded Clorient and gathered around it a group of independent practitioners who share one belief: that almost every organization is capable of better. Services have fascinated him for as long as he can remember. Not the tools or systems, but the people. How they think, how they lead, and how they work together to make service actually work.
That fascination has shaped his career. Henri has trained hundreds of experts and helped midsize to large companies move service management thinking forward in Finland. He led national research on the current state of service management, recognized with the Service Management Act of the Year 2025 award, and serves on the board of itSMF Finland. He holds more than 20 professional certifications, but they were never the goal. They're a source of inspiration, and a way to understand service from every layer.
Henri's approach is simple. Most organizations try to improve service from the wrong layer. They reach for new tools and frameworks, when what really moves the needle is thinking, people, and leadership — the basics that get overlooked. He often compares it to running a marathon. You don't start by buying better shoes. You start by learning to run, and by showing up regularly. The technology comes last.
